This Privacy Policy describes how Huggy Reminder ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Summary

• Respect for Privacy: We believe your data belongs to you. We design our app to collect the minimum amount of data necessary.
• Permissions: We request specific permissions (Calendar, Microphone, Alarms) solely to support the app's core functionality.
• Usage Management: For AI features, we only record the minimum data necessary to manage service stability, quotas, and prevent abuse.

2. Permissions and Data Usage

Generative AI / AI Assistant:

• When you use the AI assistant features, the text you enter may be sent to the Google Gemini API to generate replies.
• To manage daily usage quotas and subscription tiers (Free/Pro), we store your user identifier (UID), subscription level, and daily usage count in our cloud database.
• Your conversation content is used only to generate responses in real time; we do not use these conversations to train models or sell them to third parties.

Calendar (READ_CALENDAR / WRITE_CALENDAR):

• We request access to your calendar to allow you to view, add, and manage your schedules directly within the Huggy Reminder app.
• Your calendar data is processed locally and is not sent to our servers unless you explicitly use a cloud sync feature.

Exact Alarm & Notifications (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM):

• We use the "Exact Alarm" permission to ensure your reminders ring at the precise time you set, which is crucial for a reminder app.
• Notifications are used to alert you of these tasks and goals.

Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO):

• We request access to the microphone to support voice input features in Lifelog or Quick Memos.
• Audio data is converted to text locally or via secure system services and is not used for any other purpose.

App Data (Tasks, Memos, Goals, Logs):

• Purpose: To provide features like Goal Grid, Ephememo, and Lifelog.
• Storage: Data is primarily stored locally.
• Retention: "Ephememo" data is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Other data is retained until you delete it or your account.

3. Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third-party service providers required to operate the app:

• Google Firebase: Used for secure cloud storage, authentication, and analytics (Crashlytics). Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini API: Used to provide generative AI features. Data processing follows the Google Generative AI Service Terms.

4. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including the use of HTTPS (TLS) encryption for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. User Choices & Rights

• Revoke Permissions: You can revoke permissions (Calendar, Microphone, Notifications) at any time in your device settings.
• Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated cloud data by contacting us.
